The Chief Executive Muse

Dear Dreamer,

Welcome to my enclave of tranquility. I am she who sweetly haunts her lovers when their eyes close at night, and also she who aspires to inspire women to dream (and reach for the light). My home is neither dark, nor day, but somewhere between the dawn before it breaks.

I am the Sandwoman... The Muse... The Healer... And the Witch...

I'm an Artist, Writer, Creative Director and a Poet— and a Los Angeles native living on Tongva land. I work with the elements of earth and water, and with my Orisha, Oya.

I'm also a Sacral Alchemy™ Coach, which is my methodology to trauma-informed healing that integrates somatic experiencing, creative expression, spirituality, music, meditation, nature and equine-assisted healing.

For the past ten years, I've worked professionally as a Creative Director, Journalist and Marketing Strategist (primarily in Tech, Entertainment, Travel and Fashion). Experiential events are my sweet spot. I love hosting fabulous parties and retreats that allow me to curate groups of creative, intelligent, and sophisticated free-thinkers.

If I were alive in the 1920's and 30's, I'm sure I would've been a frequent visitor of 27 rue de Fleurus, Gertrude Stein's notorious, art and literary atelier in Paris (more widely known as "The Salon"). She entertained, and created spaces for artists, intellectuals, and writers to gather; and famous names such as Ernest Hemingway and F. Scott Fitzgerald graced her archway. I suppose I've been trying to create my own version of The Salon (with a dark feminine, witchy, luxury twist) for years. Hence, Muse by Midnight.

Over the span of my career, I've worked with Fortune 500 companies such as Google, Mercedes Benz and Rolls Royce, and I've produced activations at high-profile events such as New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, and Cannes Film Festival. I love working at the crossroads of art, fashion, music and culture. I devour new cities and countries like a vampire feasts on fresh blood, and I never tire of finding beauty in the world. I love mysteries, and I love being one...

I'm a citizen of the world, with 20+ countries under my skirt. At times I feel more at home when I'm thousands of feet in the air than I do on the ground. Perhaps it's my Aquarius Moon nature. Like a balloon, I could float away at any given moment. What likely saves me is my Scorpio Sun; keeping me cool, calm and collected.

At age 19, I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and dancing a tango with my own mortality is why I sometimes feel like I have one foot in this world, and the other in another.

At midnight, when I'm awake and spinning creative thoughts, I always come back to my deepest calling... In whatever form it manifests, I desire to help women embrace the duality of the divine feminine: the dark, sorcerous warrior and the sensual muse – and then harness that power to heal themselves and manifest beautiful, harmonious, successful, and fulfilling lives.

If you've read this far, I hope that calling is what led you to this place. Welcome to Muse by Midnight.

xo, Bella
